We are an office-first, yet hybrid friendly company. In other words, we will favour those applicants who can (and want) to be in the office with us more often, even though we're cool if you want to work from home frequently. Naturally, we're looking for somebody who's excellent and relatively experienced at designing Interfaces; but also for a well-rounded human-being, inclusive, hungry to grow and can contribute to our culture. You’ll be keen to work in a team and capable of taking client and peer feedback in a constructive manner. You’ll give your support and contribute with feedback to other team member's work in the same fashion. We're a design-led company - your voice will be valued and carry weight. You'll own your design decisions and can expect a fast-paced, highly iterative environment, as well as to be communicating regularly with clients.
A strong portfolio demonstrating your experience in designing Interfaces;
Fluency in English is mandatory, both written and spoken;
Expert with Figma;
Experienced in creating, updating, and using a Design System;
Comfortable and experienced with Interface Design processes, being capable of producing high-quality work at each step of the process;
Driven by quality and rigour;
Confidence to take constructive criticism productively and ability to defend your designs through logical reasoning when necessary;
Thirsty to continuously learn and develop new skills;
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript are a huge plus.
You’ll take projects on from the discovery phase through to the final handover to the development team and everything in between.
You’ll support others in your team and work collaboratively to achieve the best possible results, demonstrating pro-activeness by initiating and bringing ideas to the table for team and client meetings.
You’ll regularly meet with the client to present and defend your design decisions as required.
You’ll be able to work productively in a highly paced iterative environment
Ideally, you’ll be knowledgeable in HTML and CSS in order to understand the challenges that a certain design approach may entail – choosing the right strategy for a given situation.
You’ve got a product-mindset – capable of detaching yourself from a pure Designer's ego, prioritising product goals, target audience, and feasibility.
You’ll buy into our ethos and realise that we all succeed and fail as one, you’ll guide and support less experienced team members.
You recognise that a certain design decision may have a huge impact on a project's timeline and budget, taking the right design approach based on given constraints;
We don't approve of the Godfather's unorthodox methods, but we do have some pretty cool things to offer.
And perhaps the most important one, the salary range for this role is between 25 000€ and 34 999€. The range covers 2 different levels of our 7 Level Career Path, meaning this role is aimed at Level 3 and Level 4 designers.
